Dhikr is the recitation of the Beautiful Names, prophetic supplications, praise, glorification, and declaration of Allah's oneness. It is food for the soul, healing for the hearts, and a path to closeness to Allah Almighty. Allah says: "Remember Me, and I will remember you."
Dhikr is the best of deeds and most beloved to Allah, and it is a fortress for the Muslim against Satan. The Prophet ﷺ said: "The example of the one who remembers his Lord and the one who does not is like the living and the dead." It is a cause for tranquility of heart and the descent of mercy.
Dhikr brings provision, repels Satan, illuminates the heart, and removes worry and grief. It is a cause for forgiveness of sins, elevation of ranks, and increase in faith. It brings blessing in time, wealth, work, and health.
Surah Ar-Rad - Verse 28
| Morning & Evening | Dhikr for protection, provision, and blessings |
|---|---|
| Before Sleep | Dhikr for protection and tranquility |
| After Prayers | Dhikr for forgiveness and reward |

Dhikr nourishes the soul and strengthens the connection with Allah Almighty, and brings closeness to the Most Merciful. It is a reason for Allah's love for the servant, and a path to winning His pleasure and Paradise.
Dhikr brings blessing in all aspects of life, opens doors of provision, and brings victory over enemies.
Dhikr treats depression and anxiety, brings psychological tranquility, and increases self-confidence.
